What is SculpSure?
SculpSure is a noninvasive fat reduction treatment. While it isn’t intended to be a weight loss method, it kills your fat cells in areas where they won’t go away otherwise. After a few treatments, you’ll enjoy a slimmer, more toned body and a smooth silhouette.
The SculpSure device emits high-powered laser energy that targets and heats your fat cells without damaging your skin or other tissues. For 12 weeks after each procedure, your body naturally reabsorbs the dead fat cells, leaving you with permanent results — assuming you don’t gain a lot of weight afterward.
What areas can I target with SculpSure?
You can use SculpSure to shape almost any part of your body that accumulates fat. Commonly targeted areas for SculpSure include:

What should I expect at my SculpSure appointment?
At each SculpSure appointment, you sit down and relax in a reclining chair. Then, Dr. Sahni wraps the device around the part of your body that you’d like to target. As it emits energy, it alternates between a heating and cooling effect to keep you comfortable.
The treatment takes about 25 minutes, but you’ll likely need to come back for several sessions to reach the results you want. You can make your appointments 6-12 weeks apart to allow time for your body to flush out the destroyed fat cells.
Does SculpSure come with any side effects?
You experience minimal side effects, or none at all, from a SculpSure session. During the treatment, you feel no more than a warming or tingling sensation. Afterward, you may experience:
- Soreness
- Stiffness
- Bruising
- Redness
- Nodules
Dr. Sahni instructs you to massage any stiff or sore areas. You don’t need to schedule additional time to recover after your appointment: You can return to work comfortably the same day as your treatment.
